Dune Preserve, Anguilla

Using pieces of shipwrecked racing boats and washed-up driftwood, owner Bankie Banx and his best friend, Bullet, built the Dune Preserve on Anguilla’s Rendezvous Bay in 1994.

This ramshackle bar is one of the hippest in the region, serving up barbecue ribs, chicken and seafood and hosting live performances which range from conscious music to the spoken word.
