Staff glide between bamboo chairs with endless platters of Ibicenco prawns and dazzlingly fresh lobster or bowls of the famous crab spaghettini, laced with Japanese breadcrumbs and tomato confit. Gradually cranked-up decibels over the course of the day see the jet set flock to the beach club's calico umbrellas and supersized sunbeds, which appear as if sunken into the powdery sands, so perfectly at home, they are within their setting. Situated on the golden sliver of Es Cavellet, a dune-backed beach located within the protected Ses Salines nature reserve, guests can admire the extraordinary flash of sprawling turquoise as the resident DJ's spin chilled-out Balearic grooves. It's truly barefoot bohemia at its finest.
Later on, beach sunsets are toasted with a pale Provençal rosé masterfully selected by sommelier Esteban Acosta, with magnums of it bobbing around in ice buckets beside most beds. But be sure to make room for one of the signature house cocktails here too — like the coconut and chili mojito: a glorious tipple that incidentally ends up symbolizing the yin and yang the White Isle is cherished for.
