2014 MYBA Charter Show Opens

The MYBA Charter Show is one of the most important events on the yachting calendar and each year offers the best that the charter market has to offer as well as an indication of the state of the industry as a whole.  It is a trade-only event which brings in brokers from around the world who can then familiarise themselves with any new charter yachts, their crews, Captains and any refits that may have been completed before the upcoming season.

Held between the 28th April and 2nd May, this year’s show will be kicking off the Mediterranean charter season in style with a number of fantastic superyachts exhibited including the 72.5m/238’8 motor yacht AXIOMA. Launched in 2013 as the first yacht to come out of Turkish Shipyard Dunya Yachts, this will be her debut event since entering the global charter fleet late last year.

AXIOMA was unveiled during the 2013 Monaco Yacht Show under the name of ‘Red Square’ where she fast became the stand-out yacht, recognised for her high levels of luxury and ground-breaking design. She has since been nominated for several prestigious industry awards including World Superyacht Awards 2014 ‘Best Displacement Motor Yacht of 1,300GT to 1,999GT’ and ShowBoats Design Awards 2014 ‘Exterior Design & Styling Award: Displacement Motor Yachts 200′+’.

Another newly-launched superyacht on display over the next few days is the 41m/135’5 NAMELESS by Mondo Marine and the 74m/242’8 NAIA will be showing off her latest refit alongside her extensive selection of facilities.
