2025 Cannes Yachting Festival: Doors open at Vieux Port and Port Canto

By Katie Scott   9 September 2025

Unveiling the latest showcase of gleaming production and motor yacht charters, the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival opens its doors today with 119 superyachts scheduled to attend, including 104 debuts.

Once again adorning the pontoons of Vieux Port and Port Canto, the Cannes Yachting Festival welcomes the yachting industry to boat show season with some of the hottest new launches of the year, plus ample previews of future projects and superyachts.

Running from today until 14 September, this year's edition has a marginally larger listing than the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival; however, the attending fleet currently berthed in the marinas and at anchor in the bay sports many superyachts that substantially supersede the lengths of last year's leading yachts.

Featuring designated areas for a broad range of nautical niches, visitors to the 2025 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival can expect a seamless flow around the docks, with clearly marked routes and transitions between the different exhibits, along with well-appointed hospitality and entertainment hotspots.

Port Canto sees the return of the increasingly popular Sailing Area and the dedicated marina for 8 to 12-meter motor boats, which was introduced to the show in 2024. Also hosting a Yacht Brokerage area and an exciting layout of the latest water toys, this is the ideal area of the show to find inspiration for action-packed watersports yacht charters and find the latest accessories for the ultimate yachting lifestyle package.

Vieux Port is the main hub for luxury yachts and Mediterranean yacht charters, with a broad range of renowned shipyards displaying popular models, along with a mix of global premieres and insights into up-and-coming yachts that are in production to be launched over the next couple of years.

Making a statement for yacht rentals, many show debuts are sprinkled around the berths, including 180.5ft (54.99m) luxury yacht charter AFTER YOU. The largest yacht in the marina, this striking Heesen charter yacht was previously known as QUINTA ESSENTIA and hosts a grand selection of onboard amenities, including a pool with a waterfall and a hammam.

Elsewhere around Vieux Port, other leading motor yacht charters on display include 155.6ft (47.4m) charter yacht STARBURST III who makes her return to the Cannes Yachting Festival for the first time in seven years, 146ft (44.5m) yacht rental PANDION PEARL is in Cannes for her show debut, and 133.6ft (40.69m) luxury yacht charter ANDIAMO will be a highlight around the docks for her global debut.

Raising the bar for the extended fleet in the Bay of Cannes, 344.6ft (105m) charter yacht BLACK PEARL is the largest yacht to attend the Cannes Yachting Festival at anchor in over a decade.

Recently joining the global yacht charter market in 2024, the unmistakable sailing yacht charter is well-known across the industry for her distinctive black sails and is already proving to be a valuable asset to the fleet of Oceanco yachts for charter. Boasting spacious exteriors and palatial interiors, this will be the first opportunity for select members of the European audience to explore her decks in person following her global debut at the Antigua Charter Yacht Show
