In the face of the COVID-19 outbreak, many charterers are concerned about the feasibility of their summer 2020 yacht charters.

A new cancellation policy aims to put charterers’ concerns at ease, by offering cancellation insurance via a preferred carrier at no additional expense.

The policy includes coverage that benefits for up to 100% of the charter if the charter is interrupted for a variety of reasons. These include (but are not limited to):

Emergency sickness, injury or death (of insured, a family member, a travel member, a travel companion, business partner or caregiver)

On top of this, the policy provides up to $100,000 of coverage for an emergency medical evacuation.
