By Katia Damborsky   25 October 2019

The 68.5m/225ft charter yacht 'Lady E' has arrived at Pendennis shipyard in Cornwall, England to begin an 'intensive' winter refit which will include a six metre extension to her lower and main decks.

Due for completion in spring 2020, Lady E has arrived at Pendennis' facilities in Falmouth to begin a full-scale winter refit.

She will leave the Cornish yard with an extra 120 square metres of living space for her guests to enjoy, which includes a 60 square metre beach club complete with bar, sun loungers and sumptuous seating.

Both her main and upper decks will be extended during the refit, adding an impressive six metres to her current LOA. She is expected to measure around 74 metres, or 244 foot once completed.

Other major upgrades include the installation of an integrated skylight and sunpad spread on the main deck.

The refit will incorporate the installation of new generators, a new exhaust system and audiovisual and technological equipment throughout the yacht.

Alongside these changes, Lady E will also undergo general maintenance work and engine servicing.

She will leave the Cornish yard with an extra 120 square metres of living space for her guests to enjoy.

Lady E is a popular superyacht charter platform which has been meticulously maintained over the years. In October 2018, she underwent an interior refresh ahead of a busy charter season cruising around South East Asia

She was bestowed with an impressive collection of Pop Art, with works by Warhol, Lichtenstein and other world-renowned artists enlivening her social spaces.

Other major upgrades include the installation of an integrated skylight and sunpad spread on the main deck.

Delivered by Amels in 2006, Lady E was last refitted in 2003 and features interior and exterior styling from Italian studio Walter Franchini Architetto.

The motor yacht provides accommodation for 12 guests in seven cabins, and has a number of on-board highlights including a 4m spa pool with swim jets, a Turkish sauna and an on-board masseuse and yoga teacher.

She will be ready to host Mediterranean yacht charters in 2020.
