It has been announced that the fifth edition of the Dubois Cup will take place from 28 to 30 May 2014, with an impressive crop of charter yachts expected to attend the event in Sardinia.
Hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS), Porto Cervo will host participants including 35m Alloy Yacht-build ‘Caroline I,’ the 30m Pendennis sailing yacht NOSTROMO, the 50m Fitzroy superyacht OHANA and the 46m Vitters yacht GANESHA – a recent addition to the global charter fleet.
The 40m Bloemsma Van Breemen sailing yacht Valquest will also attend the Dubois Cup, but will not participate in the racing.
The 2013 Dubois Cup was widely considered the most successful edition yet, with the owners of 16 Dubois vessels gathering to network and take part in the racing.
This year’s schedule will involve a welcome cocktail part following registration on Thursday 28 May, with racing beginning the next morning. The final day of racing on Saturday 30 May will conclude with a prize-giving ceremony to the victorious yachts.
