Discover New Caledonia On Board Motor Yacht ‘Masteka 2’

The 37m/122ft luxury yacht ‘Masteka 2’ from Kha Shing has become the first foreign-flagged yacht to obtain a charter license for the exotic cruising grounds of New Caledonia in the South Pacific.

A Dubois-styled delivery, Masteka 2 is capable of expedition-style adventures in the wonderful waters of the Pacific. A regular sight in Sydney Harbour, she will be heading to New Caledonia over the summer, and will be open for charter in the region from 15^th August to late October.

Situated between Queensland, Australia, and Vanuatu, the idyllic island is surrounded by a dazzling blue lagoon and a 930-mile-long coral reef. These incredible natural features are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and present a multitude of spectacular diving opportunities.

The biodiversity continues onto the mainland, with an incredible range of fauna and flora to discover, and landscapes range from mountaintops to pine tree-lined white sand beaches. Plus, a unique fusion of French and Melanesian cultures will charm all those who step ashore.

Take in the region’s spectacular scenery aboard superyacht Masteka 2 while unwinding in the foredeck Jacuzzi, sipping cocktails with loved ones on the observation deck or catching up over a delicious alfresco dinner on the main deck aft.

Opportunities for relaxation and socialising continue in the light, airy and modern interior. Guests can get together in the main salon, with a comfortable lounge adjoining a formal dining option. Huge windows ensure all are kept in touch with their surrounds and natural light floods inside.

After a busy day at sea, guests can retreat into five luxurious cabins, including a main deck master suite, and two double cabins and two twin cabins with a Pullman each on the lower deck. In total, the motor yacht can sleep up to 12 guests on a private yacht charter.

Other highlights include gym equipment to ensure fitness regimes can be kept up while on vacation and a wide range of water toys, including water skis, wakeboards, towable toys, paddle boards, kneeboards and snorkelling gear. Scuba diving can be arranged with local operators.
