First glimpse of Feadship superyacht 'Project 816'

By Katia Damborsky   14 May 2019

Feadship has revealed their first pictures of their new project, the 88m/289ft motor yacht ‘Feadship 816’.

Entering Feadship’s new yard in Makkum, Amsterdam in time for its grand unveiling on Thursday, Project 816 was captured having her mast put in place.

The state-of-the-art facility, which is due to be officially opened by Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, has three overhead cranes for mast installations. They have a total capacity of 2x12.5 tonnes each.

The new facility measures 166m long, and has a dry dock which measures 140m. It will cater to both refits and new builds.

Superyacht Lady S was the first yacht to enter the shed last month, after completing her sea trials in the North Sea. She has since been delivered and is ready to begin her Mediterranean charter season.

Feadship is having a busy year so far, with Lady S and superyacht Najiba both recently delivered to their owners.
