By Katia Damborsky   30 October 2019

The luxury yachts on the FLIBS 2019 Official Lineup are being made to look their best, as the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show prepares to open its doors today.

Running between October 30 - November 3, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is currently preparing to open its doors for day one.

As ever, the YachtCharterFleet team is on the ground in Fort Lauderdale to bring you first-hand reporting and live coverage from the world's largest in-water boat show.

At the docks of the Superyacht Village, the fleet of luxury yachts is being made to look its best, with deck crews hard at work putting the finishing touches in place before show-goers start to arrive.

Handrails are being buffed, bulwarks are being polished and exteriors are being hosed down and cleaned to leave them mirror-shiny.

Among the yachts on display here, 72m (236ft) motor yacht SOLO is in attendance, showing off her olive-toned Francesco Paszkowski exteriors.

She is berthed opposite Amels'  272ft (83m) superyacht 'Here Comes the Sun', a popular charter yacht with a wealth of top-of-the-range amenities at her disposal.

If you are thinking about visiting the Superyacht Village, you can view all the superyachts at the FLIBS 2019 Superyacht Village.

Away from the water, the Superyacht Village has been unveiled to show-goers.

The waterfront venue is starting to attract attention, with show-attendees browsing the stands and taking some time out in the lounge.

The Lurssen stand is proving popular already, with its scale model of 366ft (111m) charter yacht TIS on display for show-goers to admire.

If you're looking to visit the brand new Superyacht Village at FLIBS 2019, you'll need to take a water taxi from the main show at Bahia Mar. The pick-up point can be found just before the Sanlorenzo stand.

Get on a taxi following the yellow route and the 3rd stop will be Pier 66 - which is where the Superyacht Village is located. The journey takes around ten minutes.

YachtCharterFleet will be at FLIBS for the duration of the show, bringing you live updates and key information over the next few days.
