Monaco Yacht Show 2026: Doors Open For The Latest Edition

Back for another edition packed with some of the world's most iconic superyachts, the Monaco Yacht Show pulls out all the stops for 2026 with a multitude of global debuts, new attractions, and a striking display in the Bay of Monaco.

Set in the beautiful Port Hercule, the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show is scheduled to run from today until 26 September, and kicks off in a new style with visitors able to tailor their visit with tickets for just the exhibition area or access to all areas.

A few changes lie in wait for those heading down to the show, but among the new additions, the calibre of superyachts and luxury yacht charters associated with the event can be found around the pontoons.

MYS2026 In Numbers

So what does the latest edition of the Monaco Yacht Show look like in numbers?

This year's total attending fleet sits at 157 superyachts, including 115 on the official listing in Port Hercule and a further 42 at anchor.

Looking solely at the Monaco yacht charters around the docks, we have a good range of 39 yacht rentals, with 20 of them making their global, regional, or show debuts. There's an average age of 8.77 years among them, and an average length of 52.35 meters.

Comparing these charter figures against the 2025 edition, there were 52 yacht charters on display last year, with an average length of 49.12 meters and an average age of 8.92 years.

Showcasing a smaller and marginally older fleet of charter yachts for 2026, Port Hercule still has some impressive yachts on display within the marina, which are not available for rent, such as the headlining duo of Gabe Newell's superyacht LEVIATHAN and former charter yacht DRAAK, plus the debut of PANGEA from the Amels shipyard.

Out at anchor, the charter yachts on display have some well-known names worth seeing if you have the opportunity (more on that below). The fleet out in the Bay of Monaco are younger than last year, with an average age of 18.21 years against 20.72 in 2025, and length-wise, we have a shorter average of 55.56 meters, down from 59.38 last year.

What's New At The Monaco Yacht Show?

Changes for 2026. Tickets look a little different for this year's edition, with visitors now having the chance to opt for tickets that allow entry to just the exhibition area, or an all-access option to get on the docks and see the attending fleet up close.

The VIP offering has also been updated, with the previous Sapphire option being replaced by the Prestige Programme. This new option has many of the same benefits seen on the Sapphire Experience, with dedicated lounges, concierge services and exclusive benefits, plus priority scheduling for yacht visits.

The Designer Gallery marks a shift in focus and format, bringing all designers together on one continuous platform

For those looking to update their superyacht lifestyle, the Adventure Area welcomes an expanded tender display, with 72 models on display. Featuring three quays spread over Quai Jarlan and Quai Antoine Ier, this showcase will be the largest display of tenders in the show's history.

Another replacement for 2026, the Designer Gallery makes its inaugural appearance instead of the former Yacht Design & Innovation Hub, along with the adjacent MYS Immersive Experience by VBH, which offers interactive 3D technology to present a unique experience of virtual yacht projects.

Superyacht Charters Making Noise Around the Pontoons

As always, the Monaco Yacht Show promises a great range of the most opulent charter yachts on the market, including this year's largest attending yacht rental, NIXIE.

Launching straight into the exclusive club of the world's largest yachts for charter, there's a lot of excitement about this Lürssen charter yacht. Making her global debut at this year's show, superyacht charter NIXIE was formerly known to the industry as Project JASSJ and is laden with premium amenities and styling by RWD.

Making her global premiere at Quai Rainier Ier, the striking 289ft (88m) superyacht charter ANGELIQUE stands out with her beautiful blue hull. Formerly known as Project Vento, she is currently the largest Turquoise yacht for charter and has been designed inside and out by H2 Yacht Design.

Among her impressive list of amenities, she hosts a generous pool, spa-quality health and wellness facilities, a certified helipad, and a great range of toys for legendary sessions on the waves.

Casting Your Eye Over The Horizon

Looking out and over the walls of Port Hercule, an additional fleet of Mediterranean yacht charters are poised at anchor, making a statement of their own.

Extending the vicinity of the show out into the bay, there are many big names from the global charter fleet decorating the horizon, including the striking Lürssen superyacht charter WHISPER.

Previously known as KISMET and formerly owned by Shahid Khan, who owns the current 400ft (122m) luxury charter yacht KISMET, WHISPER is a multi-award winner with an effortlessly elegant appeal. Some of her key features include a winter garden and a multi-level swimming pool.

Also out in the bay, 325ft (99.15m) charter yacht CHRISTINA O can be spotted with her touch of yellow, providing something different for those who enjoy the classic golden era of yachting.

Charter yacht ALFA NERO returns for another edition at anchor, showcasing her staggering exterior deck spaces, along with superyacht rental BATELLO who completed her latest refit in 2025, and the instantly recognizable charter yacht KENSHO.
