Wynn Marina Set to Bring Superyachts and Luxury Yacht Charters to Wynn Al Marjan Island in 2027

By Anna Ingles   12 October 2026

Wynn Al Marjan Island has unveiled plans for Wynn Marina, a 98-berth superyacht marina set to open alongside the resort in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, in 2027.

Designed to connect arrivals by sea directly with the wider resort, Wynn Marina will accommodate yachts and Middle East yacht charters measuring up to 279ft (85m), creating a new option for charter guests looking to combine time on board with access to dining, entertainment, wellness and waterfront experiences.

Positioned at the heart of the upcoming resort on Al Marjan Island, Wynn Marina is being developed as more than a place to berth a yacht. Its planned circular harbor will form a focal point for the waterfront, with views from surrounding accommodations, restaurants, terraces and promenades, while a dedicated arrival facility will bring marina operations and guest services together.

It is not simply a place to berth a yacht, but an integral part of the destination.

A New Superyacht Marina for Charter Guests in Ras Al Khaimah

According to Wynn Al Marjan Island, the facility will have capacity for more yachts and larger vessels than any hotel-attached marina in the UAE, positioning it as a potential stop for larger charter yachts cruising the Arabian Gulf.

Operations will be overseen by Fort Lauderdale-based IGY Marinas, with services planned for yacht owners, charter guests, captains and crew. These will include berthing coordination, arrival and departure assistance, provisioning support, transportation arrangements and resort concierge services, allowing guests to coordinate time ashore around their stay on board.

At the center of the marina, the Capitainerie will serve as both the operational hub and arrival point. Designed by Dewan Architects + Engineers, the facility is planned to bring together marina operations, guest registration, concierge assistance and captain and crew services, with direct access to the resort's accommodation, restaurants, entertainment, wellness and retail offerings.

For UAE yacht charter guests, the integration with the resort is a key part of the proposed experience. Dining reservations, onboard celebrations and tailored resort activities will be among the services available, while the waterfront setting is also intended to accommodate visitors arriving from the resort itself.

Direct Access to Wynn Al Marjan Island's Resort Experiences

Wynn Marina will form part of Wynn Al Marjan Island, an integrated resort currently under construction in Ras Al Khaimah, less than 50 miles from Dubai International Airport. The wider development is scheduled to open in 2027 and is planned to include 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theater, spa, designer boutiques, event spaces and extensive pool areas.

The resort's position on Al Marjan Island will place visiting yachts within reach of the wider Ras Al Khaimah coastline, while the marina is to provide a direct link between the resort and arrivals by sea. Its eventual appeal to charter itineraries in the UAE will depend on the completed facilities, operating arrangements and availability when the resort opens.

Further Developments Unveiled AS Wynn Al Marjan Island Also Reveals Its Beachfront and Lagoon Plans

Alongside the marina announcement, Wynn Al Marjan Island has also revealed details of its completed 1,804ft (550m) beachfront, sheltered lagoon and offshore reef, offering a preview of the resort's planned beach experience ahead of its 2027 opening.

The shoreline will be organized into three environments: Resort Beach, Adult Beach and Enclave Beach. Plans also include 372 chaise lounges, 61 cabanas and three bungalows, one of which is described as a private bungalow with a plunge pool and butler service. The sheltered lagoon is intended for swimming and snorkeling, with paddleboarding and kayaking also planned.

Our ambition was to create a shoreline where guests can escape- somewhere they can swim in calm, clear water and enjoy the beachfront in complete privacy.

Offshore, visitors from UAE and Dubai yacht charters will find that a 1,047ft (319m) network of engineered reef units has been installed to encourage marine habitat growth. Wynn reports that coral and marine life have begun taking hold around the structures, with osprey nesting nearby.

The wider Ras Al Khaimah region offers 21 dive sites, including natural reefs and shipwrecks, while marine sanctuaries support species including Indian Ocean humpback dolphins and several types of sea turtles.

Wynn Al Marjan Island and Wynn Marina are scheduled to open in 2027.
