Embark at Matanchén Bay
You will begin your Mexico yacht rental on tranquil Matanchén Bay, before exploring the breathtaking beauty of San Blas.
South of San Blas, the vast golden crescent that is Matanchén Bay (Bahía de Matanchén) is flush with beaches boasting silky sands, but one in particular takes precedent, as it is nothing short of a surfer's paradise. The beach in question, Playa Las Islitas Nayarit, is nestled in a protected bay and the waves here are recorded in the Guinness World Records for being the longest in the world. Be sure to hit the waves on your surfboard, or whip out your water toys and go for an exhilarating jet-ski ride. There are seldom large crowds here, meaning you can enjoy this sweeping stretch practically all to yourself.
After an adrenalin-fueled day at Las Islitas, take a restorative break, enjoying a five-star dining experience onboard your superyacht and anchor overnight. There are plenty of activities to check out the next day. Animal lovers can go horse-riding along the beach, see turtle hatchlings at La Toyara Natural Park or take a helicopter ride to Isla Isabela Nature Reserve: an uninhabited isle known as Mexico's Galápagos. It's known for its phenomenal bird watching and it's a gorgeous dive spot too: manta rays, turtles, humpback whales, yellowtail and blooming coral reefs await you.

Chacala Bay
After a sundrenched breakfast in Matanchén, you'll depart for Chacala Bay, a picturesque fishing village that offers some of the best surf spots in Nayarit
A secluded beach town blanketed by verdant jungle, visitors adore Chacala Bay's slowed-down pace and total lack of pretension, with la Caleta and Colorine being its most impressive surfing spots. Combine open-water adventure with soaking up this sleepy fishing town's laid-back ambience, margarita in hand, with the daily rhythm set by the ocean waves.

Punta Mita
Beyond the barefoot bliss of Chacala, your next cruising grounds will be the lush private peninsula of Punta Mita: where five-star luxury awaits on land.
Arrestingly pretty with an abundance of things to see and do, you could quite easily spend a week in this spot alone. Be sure to check out the surf break at El Anclote and Punta Mita's most technicolor dive sites, before checking out nearby uninhabited Marieta Island. The latter is a flora and fauna haven featuring a highly distinctive landmark well-worth visiting — an otherworldly swimming hole sunken beneath the surface. Playa Escondida (Playa del Amor) is a spectacular beach cavern ensconced by crystal-clear waters, and you'll be enthralled from first glimpse.
It would be amiss to visit Punta Mita on a Mexico yacht charter and not try out one of its uber-luxe offerings. Meander to the Four Seasons Resort for world-class golfing and dining as well as for one of its legendary Mexican massages, where a cactus paddle (with no spikes!) is used to smooth cactus juices onto surf-tired limbs. Yelapa
On this day, you'll be uncovering one of Mexico's hidden gems: the idyllic village of Yelapa.
Tucked away in the southernmost cove of the world's 7th largest bay, Yelapa is a surfing nirvana: head to El Tecuan for a rip-roaring ride at sea, as well as at Quimixto — we thoroughly recommend taking a tender here to see its mesmerising waterfalls up close.
Diminutive, with not a road or car in sight, Yelapa's outstanding natural beauty is allowed to take centre stage. A smouldering combination of mirror-calm waters framed by a backdrop fizzing with green, this village truly delights the senses and ignites the imagination.

- Day 8
Bahia de Chamela
Moving on from the eye-poppingly turquoise waters of serene Yelapa, you'll discover the splendid cruising grounds of Bahia de Chamela.
It's this part of your Mexico yacht vacation that you will be able to island-hop to your heart's content. Bahia de Chamela is a bay comprising of a string of islands with serious beach cachet. A journey through vivid colour, check out La Penita and Costa Careyes for soaring through the surf and for diving, your options are practically endless thanks to gin-clear waters: the islands of San Pedro and San Andres being notable highlights.

Bahia Tenacatita
One of the final trips you'll take on your sunkissed yacht rental vacation is to Bahia Tenacatita, one of the most popular anchorages in this part of the Pacific Coast.
The surfing standouts are certainly Arroyo Seco and Barra Navidad, where you can while away an afternoon riding the waves. There are two main anchorage spots to be found here: behind the bluff at Punta Chubasco, an area know for its mesmerizing underwater adventures and well-worth slipping your snorkel and diving gear for, as well as on the northwest corner of Punta Hermanos.

Manzanillo
Last but absolutely not least, your final stop is Manzanillo: a port city that will leave your eyes wide with wonder.
Serious surfing enthusiasts should make a beeline for Boca de Pascuales, but Manzanillo does offer other excellent spots for all surfing levels: like Santiago Bay, known for its high-quality surf, while family-friendly Playa La Boquita is a calmer, beach beauty hugged by soaring mountains.
