Distinguished by her glittering silver hull and the harmonious exterior lines composed by the in-house team at Christensen, CHASSEUR certainly has all the makings of an iconic motor yacht.

Indeed, whilst she might deviate from certain Christensen characteristics she retains the exceptional build quality for which the Vancouver-based yard is revered.

The main salon provides the first indication that she’s something of a revolution. Instead of the usual American walnut interior, charter guests are faced with bright furnishings and artwork similar in style to those found in modern luxury apartments.

Surrounded by large, untinted windows, the atmosphere in the central communal space is airy and invigorating. Another advantage of such generously proportioned windows, which are a first for Christensen, is the greater connection to the sea and surroundings which they create.

Enlivened by plenty of nautical references- the smooth shells used to hold flowers on the coffee table and a canvas printing of sunbathers being the most obvious- the decorative accents provide a distinct character to the interior.

Featuring a collection of handmade Santos Rosewood cabinets, it’s evident that even the smallest touches have been given careful consideration.

Designed by fellow Americans at VARO, the careful selection of materials sit atop immaculate teak flooring which is broken up by holly inlays and plush silk rugs. Perhaps the most striking of all the furnishings, however, is the bespoke Armani table which serves as the formal dining space.

Separated by a light sycamore bureau, the formal dining area is far more casual than the name may suggest. Indeed, with the same milk glazed walls as the main salon, there is no doubt that the space is suitable for more relaxed occasions.

With two of the large windows situated at either end of the table, charter guests will be able to enjoy ocean views whilst tucking into their meals, making the dining experience totally unforgettable.

Like all of the communal and guest spaces on board CHASSEUR, the recessed lighting overhead can be instantly dimmed to evoke a range of moods to suit the desires of the party.

Whilst the ‘floating staircase’ may well be the defining feature of the superyacht, the 1.8m Mathieu Nab sculpture, which sits at the foot of it, is certainly deserving of attention.

Expertly carved, the Dutch artist has certainly lent considerable flair to complement the pioneering staircase.

With the treads protruding from leather panelling and ending before the glass wall, the illusion of walking on air to reach the sky lounge is truly unique. The meticulously crafted and backlit handrail serves as a nice guide which is just as intricately designed as the staircase itself.

For even greater accessibility, CHASSEUR also includes a four-person elevator which serves all of the decks.

Divided into two dedicated spaces, the sky lounge is composed of a spacious lounge area to port and a full-height bar built from illuminated crystal agate and mirrored glass to starboard.

Perfect for late night cocktails or daytime refreshment, the oversized seats which line the bar provide the extraordinary comfort guests will have become familiar with in other sections of the yacht.

Consistent with the light and airy atmosphere found in the main salon, the surrounding windows usher in a huge amount of natural light as well as providing exceptional views whether in port or at sea.

Providing an even more laid-back alternative to the main salon, guests can even catch a movie on the large TV screen integrated into the panelling towards the aft.

The full-beam master suite, spanning across the forward section of the main deck, is annexed by a private office which offers a tranquil environment for the occupant to attend to any necessary business whilst away on a private yacht charter vacation.

With Armani silk-wrapped wall panels perfectly complementing the bleach figured sycamore walls, the desk is accompanied by two armless espresso hair-on-hide chairs fitted with side tables.

In the sleeping area, there’s a real sense of warmth, with a large wool rug and three photographs by American artist Acey Harper, which establish a unique personality to the space. Brightened by two large oval windows, the leather headboard and panelling finely accent the rosewood bed.

As might be expected of such a thoughtfully designed suite, the his and hers bathroom facilities are finished in a uniform green vein-cut onyx and feature a large steam shower as well as separate toilet and bidet rooms.

Situated on the lower deck, the additional five cabins are finished in a similar style to the master, with strategically placed portholes continuing the ongoing theme of natural light.

Thoughtfully designed, there is a dedicated service area located amidships to allow charter guests to access cold drinks and other refreshments during the evening.

Comprised of a single VIP at the aft, two doubles amidships, and two twins at the fore, each cabin enjoys onyx en-suite facilities with underfloor heating as well as a dedicated vanity space.

The VIP is perhaps the crowning feature of the lower deck, with the woven leather bed and Hermes club chair offering the kind of surroundings and luxury that are usually the preserve of master cabins. The ensuite is composed of esmerelda green onyx and features two sinks, a bathtub, and separate toilet facilities.

Altogether, the cabin configuration on board CHASSEUR provides superb accommodation for up to 12 guests whilst away on a private charter.

Heading out to the exterior of superyacht CHASSEUR guests are sure to be magnetised to the enormous spa pool nestled between sunpads on the sundeck. Surrounded by bright and bespoke cushions, the pool is the perfect place to take in the exotic surroundings whilst at-anchor.

Only a few steps away, the full-height bar and BBQ situated amidships is the perfect spot to enjoy some refreshment. With an awning providing a comfortable amount of shade, guests are able to toast their charter vacation in style, looking out across the ocean towards their destination.

The aft section of the sundeck is utilised for storage, with both the 40ft Intrepid tender and Jetskis entering the water via a crane. Of course, they can always be lowered into the water to create more space for an all-night party out on the sundeck.

What’s more, with a retractable hatch affixed to the head of the sundeck staircase, guests are able to enjoy their festivities in a private and child-friendly environment.

Superbly proportioned and equipped with all of the necessary luxuries, the exterior of superyacht CHASSEUR is nothing short of spellbinding

The exterior spaces featured on the main deck provide numerous options for both lounging and informal alfresco dining. Indeed, with a light oak table occupying the space immediately outside of the main salon, the entire party can gather for breakfast and dinner whilst taking in the views.

Equally well-equipped for coffee and brunch, the seating that fringes the aft of the main deck forms a nicely laid-back environment beneath plenty of shade.

The foredeck enjoys the addition of a beautifully appointed Portuguese bridge, with another large sunpad placed in an opening for an even greater observation point to take in the surrounding landscapes.

From the lower deck, guests are able to effortlessly access the water, with the broad swim platform extending gracefully off the stern. Altogether, charter guests are able to enjoy an all but unsurpassed level of outdoor luxury living on board CHASSEUR.

Though not available for charter purposes, the aft section of the sundeck is capable of hosting a helicopter. Nicely demonstrated at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in 2016, this aspect of the design truly solidifies her status as a modern motor yacht.

Whilst it might not be a feature which charter guests take advantage of, it gives a good indication of the proportions of the exterior deck space.

Ideal for entertaining and gathering as a party, it’s easy to imagine how this area could be used to host entire charter groups.

As the above image illustrates, the generous beam of CHASSEUR has been put to exceptional use, with the upper deck benefiting from comprehensive shade if guests so desire.

The retractable staircase on the starboard side also allows guests to enjoy unrestricted space when chilling out by the water- a superb finishing touch which is consistent with her overall functionality.
