The industry-only Antigua Charter Yacht Show will return to the idyllic Caribbean island in early December for its 57th edition.
For industry professionals undertaking the international yacht show circuit, few events are met with such excitement as the Antigua Charter Yacht Show, which exhibits the very best superyachts available for charter in the region during the upcoming Caribbean cruising season.
A trade only event, it takes place over seven days across three show locations: Antigua Yacht Club Marina, Falmouth Harbour Marina and Nelson’s Dockyard Marina.
Five days are dedicated to yacht viewings and the fifth day is also known as 'Sail Day'. This initiative provides visiting brokers with the chance to experience a 'micro-charter' around the stunning waters of Antigua.
The event as a whole equips brokers with first-hand knowledge of the Caribbean charter fleet, the captains and crews and other industry innovations, ensuring they are better prepared to help their client plan a luxury yacht charter in the region.
There are also plenty of chances to network and socialise. A busy schedule includes cocktail parties, evening yacht hops, seminar sessions and on-board lunches.
Another key component is the culinary contest. Now in its 19th year, the competition sees superyacht chefs go head to head trying to wow the judges with their culinary creations. This year the theme is 'A New Years Eve Dinner Party' and stewards and stewardesses can get involved in a tablescaping competition.
