Combining serious racing with laid-back Antiguan hospitality, the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta will return to the Caribbean in April 2018 for its 31st edition.
The first event in the annual Penerai Classic Yachts Challenge, the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta will bring some of the world’s finest classic sailing yachts together in the beautiful waters of Antigua.
Close to 60 yachts are expected to compete across four days of racing as people gather in the Caribbean from all over the world to share the passion of sailing classic, vintage and traditional yachts.
For those who want to be part of the action, it’s possible to race alongside the most elegant classic yachts of all time as part of a regatta charter. Alternatively, watch from the sidelines from the comfort of a luxury charter yacht.
On the first day, proceedings get underway in the evening with an opening ceremony and this is followed on day two with the Concours d'Elegance judging and single-handed race.
The main racing then takes place from 20th to 23rd April, with a cream tea party at Admirals Inn in Nelsons Dockyard concluding the action on the final day of the event.
