More than 70,000 art lovers are expected to descend upon the Sunshine State of Florida in December as Art Basel Miami returns.
Scheduled to run from 7-9 December 2023, the event showcases the most exciting work of some of the hottest artists on the planet and, when combined with Miami’s ease of accessibility for superyachts, it can be easily integrated into a luxury yacht charter itinerary or to simply host a glittering superyacht party as part of a corporate charter.
The event is one of the most established in the art world and has been pulling together some of the most influential works of art from North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa since 1970. The hub of the event is the Miami Beach Convention Center, but the artwork spills out much further than that, donning the surrounding streets, beaches and parks during the show.
In total in excess of 250 galleries from 2,000 artists are expected to be on show. The event features all mediums of art including paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs and films and draws many art luminaries and celebrities.
