Cannes Yachting Festival 2021

Back after an enforced absence, the Cannes Yachting Festival promises another glittering line-up of yachts across the full owner and crew-operated spectrum.

Running from 7-12 September, the 2021 Cannes Yachting Festival (CYF) has never been more keenly anticipated and is expected to attract over 50,000 visitors to the South of France where a 700-strong fleet of vessels awaits..

Alongside the boats, there will be hundreds of service and equipment exhibitors on display in Cannes, giving visitors the opportunity to obtain everything the modern yachtsperson could desire.

The Cannes Yachting Festival is unique in that it allows sea trials to take place during the show, making it a prime destination for serious buyers looking to get a real feel for a yacht.

Split between Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto, the event invariably includes a stellar selection of yachts making their global debuts. This is a huge draw for many attendees and further cements the yachting festival's reputation as one of Europe's leading in-water boat shows. 

What to see at CYF 2021

The 2021 edition will see a huge variety of boats in attendance, ranging from sailing and motor yachts to multihulls, tenders and day boats.

Launching a new layout at the 2019 edition of the event, a new zone introduced to specifically cater to sailing vessels appeared in Port Canto, proving a valuable asset to the show and enhancing the overall visual experience for the visitors. 

Around 100 yachts measuring over 23m are put on display each year. Most are located in Vieux Port, however a sales and brokerage zone in Port Canto means that they are divided between the two; a complimentary water taxi service is on hand to provide seamless transfers between the ports. 

In addition to the impressive display of yachts, auxiliary events attached to the show include the popular Luxury Gallery for premium shopping plus a host of exclusive exhibits for automotive and watersports enthusiasts.
