Held at the classic Monza circuit, the Italian Grand Prix 2014 is scheduled to take place on 7th September.
The Italian Grand Prix is one of the the most prestigious races on the F1 calendar and is held at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, near Milan. The track was one of the very first purpose-built circuits in the world and has a long history of awful incidents as well as celebrated victories.
The Italian's call Monza 'La Pista Magica', the Magical Track, and set within the natural landscapes on the Lombardy region in Norhern Italy, it is easy to see why. Built in a woodland setting in the Royal Monza park, the track features the infamous Curva di Lesmo, Curva Parabolica and the Variante Ascari. The track's biggest event is the F1 Italian Grand Prix which has been held here since the very first race, and it is known as the home of the Tifosi, supporters of the Italian Grand Prix team Scuderia Ferrari.
