A key feature of island life, the long-running St Barts Music Festival will return to the Caribbean island for its 35th anniversary season in January 2018.
This year's St Barts Music Festival will offer a vibrant programme of the finest music and dance performances, all taking place against an idyllic island backdrop of sandy beaches, sea breezes and flowering hibiscus.
Some of the world’s most prominent classical, opera, ballet and jazz stars will take to the stage in quaint churches and community halls across St Barts to the delight of visitors and locals alike.
The festival will begin on the weekend of 5th and 6th January, when the Paris Opera Ballet and the Trocadero perform on the Quai General de Gualle in the open air. The main run of the event then follows from 14th to 24th January, with piano recitals, chamber music, opera and jazz.
Each year the repertoire of events is enriched, diversified and enhanced, with films, literature, fine art and sculpture now on the schedule. Cultural exchange and educational programs are now also regular features of the event.
