The 43.66m/143'3" sail yacht 'Syl' was built by Barcos Deportivos in Spain at their Tarragona shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Barcos Deportivos and she was completed in 2003. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of German Frers.
Syl has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Syl is built with a alustar hull and alustar superstructure, with carbon/epoxy decks. Powered by 1 x diesel MTU (12V183 TE 62 MTU 762572) 737hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots with a range of up to 2,534 nautical miles from her 17,000 litre fuel tanks at 9 knots. Her water tanks store around 4,200 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register 100 A1 + LMC classification society rules.
