The 35m/114'10" expedition yacht 'Tango 5' was built by Horizon in Taiwan at their Kaoshing shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Schnaase Interior Design and she was delivered to her owner in April 2013. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Espinosa Yacht Design.
Tango 5 has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Tango 5 is built with a steel hull and GRP superstructure. Powered by twin diesel MAN (D2842 LE410) 1,100hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots with a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles from her 36,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 6,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to BV (Bureau Veritas) (yacht and steel ship rule classification society rules.
