The 126m/413'5" motor yacht 'HMY Britannia' was built by John Brown & Company at their Clydebank, Scotland shipyard and she was delivered to her owner in January 1954. She was last refitted in 1987.

HMY Britannia is built with a steel hull and steel / aluminium superstructure, with teak decks.
