The Genoa International Boat show has opened its doors and over the next five days will be showcasing its ‘renewed and more dynamic’ layout.
Organisers of the Genoa Boat Show announced earlier this year that the 54th edition of the annual yacht show would be re-designed to offer a more efficient and effective platform for visitors to experience the show. One of the most significant changes was cutting down the length of the show from the usual nine to a more compact five as well as providing a marked increase in exhibitors and offering ‘substantially enhanced services’.
The changes are the first step in a three-year plan to revitalise the event in conjunction with the needs of the current yacht market in addition to forming a stronger dialogue with the destination of Genoa. There is also a brand new ‘Super Made in Italy’ area that has been created to display a selection of fine Italian-built superyachts alongside the usual dedicated areas for sailing yachts and motor yachts.
The Genoa Boat Show gives international brokers the opportunity to view a wide selection of vessels available for both sale and charter. The event also demonstrates the beautiful setting of Genoa which in itself is one of the most popular choices for charter destinations in the Mediterranean and a must-see when exploring the Italian Riviera.
