Expedition Yacht Enigma XK Currently In The Antarctic

By Oliver Pearson   19 January 2016

Confidently cutting through the fast ice at the Southern edge of South America, the 71m/234ft expedition yacht Enigma XK looked entirely at home in the Antarctic Peninsula this month.

Currently open for winter charters in Antarctica and South America before heading to the Seychelles in the middle of the year, Enigma XK is a perfect expedition yacht, suitable for both the discoverer and lounger looking to get away on vacation.

Following an extensive three year transformation, Enigma XK has gone on to prove her mettle in the toughest waters and harshest terrain.

Designed for lengthy excursions, she is recognised as a leading discovery vessel which features all of the luxury amenities of a modern motor yacht.

Winning the award for best conversion at the World Superyacht Awards the year she joined the charter fleet, 'Enigma XK' offers a stunning array of leisure facilities across her highly decorated decks.

Enlarging the portholes and installing floor-to-ceiling windows in the main salon, the conversion has allowed for a great deal of light to spill in and reveal more of the intricate interior design work from the ultra-modern team at Vitruvius.

Her outdoor deck areas were treated with the same thoughtfulness throughout this process, with the expansive sundeck offering a variety of comfortable lounging options.

Capable of accommodating up to 12 guests with an experienced crew of 19, Enigma XK is ideal for larger families or parties.

With 5 VIP cabins and a futuristic gymnasium, Enigma XK epitomises the luxury of a superyacht in the same way it epitomised the performance of an expedition yacht
