Benetti’s 70m luxury motor yacht ALKHOR, formerly known as FB273, has been successfully handed over to her Owners.
After hitting the water for the first time in February, ALKHOR completed her sea trials off of the coast of Livorno, where the Benetti facilities are based, and is now undertaking her maiden voyage.
One of the most eye catching features of this fully custom superyacht is a uniquely designed, changeable depth, swimming pool. The floor of the pool can be raised to become part of the main deck’s flooring. This is the first time Benetti has installed this type of pool on one of their yachts.
Other highlights of the six-deck, 1,425 GT superyacht, include a huge Owner’s deck that spans 120-square metres and occupies the entire upper deck. Featuring a private lounge, spa facilities, a touch-n-go helipad, a breakfast nook and unobstructed 180-degree views thanks to huge windows that stretch around the cabin, it is truly a luxurious retreat for the new owner.
In total up to 14 guests can be accommodated in seven staterooms. Aside from the Owner’s suite, the remaining six are located on the lower deck.

The luxury superyacht ALKHOR is built for relaxation and socialising. There is a large beach club with twin terraces, and a completely open sundeck with a jacuzzi, sunpad spread and a variety of sunloungers.
A large upper deck area provides the perfect opportunity for alfresco dining and there is also a cinema suite and gym.
The motor yacht features exterior design by Benetti's in-house designers while her interiors have been crafted by Laura Pomponi. She is expected to reach a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
Announced in September 2015 as Project FB273, her steel hull and aluminium superstructure were joined together in August 2017 before she hit the water for the first time in February this year.
Despite the effects of COVID-19, Benetti’s production line has shown no signs of slowing down. ALKHOR is Benetti’s eighth superyacht to be handed over this year, including the charter yachts LANA and ‘Happy Me’. Also delivered earlier this year was the motor yacht LUMINOSITY, at 107m she took her place in the world’s top 50 largest superyachts.
It is not yet known whether ALKHOR will become available for private yacht charters.
