Previously known as Project 707, the 76.5m (251’) motor yacht BOARDWALK has left Feadship’s facilities in Aalsmeer to begin sea trials.
The superyacht exited the Dutch builder’s facilities after the final stages of her outfitting were completed earlier this week with the installation of a communications mask. She is now heading to the North Sea to begin her sea trials.
BOARDWALK first hit the water in December 2019 when she made her way to the Aalsmeer facilities, where she took the place of charter yacht ARROW as she left. She is set to be the fourth new-build Feadship to be delivered this year after the aforementioned 75m (246') luxury yacht ARROW, the 99.95m (328') superyacht MOONRISE and 72.8m (239') motor yacht PODIUM.
Five-deck BOARDWALK features naval architecture by de Voogt and is characterized by classic lines and a sharp profile.
While much of the project is still shaded in secrecy, we do know that five-deck BOARDWALK features naval architecture by de Voogt and is characterized by classic lines and a sharp profile. Her white hull gives her a more traditional look, and cut out sections in the bow reveal a forward tender garage. It is believed she belongs to an experienced Owner.
The Dutch yard has a number of other exciting projects in the pipeline. They are currently working on Feadship Project 1010, which had its technical launch last month. This 118m (387’) superyacht is their largest yacht to date and is currently undergoing outfitting ahead of her expected delivery in 2022.
Upon her completion Project 1010 will make her way into the world’s top 100 yachts, which is currently headed by the 180.65m (593') Lurssen superyacht AZZAM.
It is not yet known whether M/Y BOARDWALK will be available for luxury yacht charter.
