The next three editions of LYBRA-organised The Superyacht Show will be held in the OneOcean Port Vell in Barcelona, with the upcoming event taking place from 8 to 11 May 2019.
LYBRA (Large Yacht Brokers’ Association) launched the inaugural edition of The Superyacht Show at the Barcelona marina in May of this year. The aim was to create a customer-centric luxury event for yacht buyers and charterers, and the show welcomed 22 superyachts.
The 2019 edition will return to the Spanish marina and the fleet of yachts in attendance is expected to grow by an estimated 30 percent.
Reasons for returning to OneOcean Port Vell include its ability to handle superyachts measuring up to 190 metres in length, its 150 moorings and its 440 metres of dock space.
President of LYBRA, Raphael Sauleau, said: “The show is an ambitious project with its focus entirely on creating a unique visitor experience; displaying incredible superyachts in a world-class marina such as OneOcean Port Vell.
The success of 2018 has led buyers to recognise the attractive opportunity The Superyacht Show offers
“The success of 2018 has led buyers to recognise the attractive opportunity The Superyacht Show offers and we’re very happy to announce we’ll be working again with OneOcean Port Vell, a marina which offers some of the best facilities and services in the region to cater for this kind of event.”
The key aim of The Superyacht Show is to provide potential owners and charterers with a more relaxed and welcoming way to get on board the finest superyachts for sale. Over time, organisers plan to develop it into the definitive, pre-summer buying opportunity in the Mediterranean.
Tickets will be available from 1 February 2019.
