Yesterday saw the unofficial launch of the 60m (197ft) yacht COME TOGETHER as she left her shed in Vlissingen – Damen's facilities in the Netherlands. She marks the first hull in the new generation of the yard's popular Espen Øino-designed Amels 60 series.
Penned by the in-house naval architects team at Amels and Damen Yachting, she sports a pebble-gray metallic hull and contrasting black and white superstructure, along with striking geometric glass paneling along the sides.
Commissioned by an experienced owner, her 830GT bright and airy interior spaces come courtesy of Winch Design, who have harnessed a neutral scheme using an array of organic materials to create a relaxed beachy vibe “with a subtle maculine edge”.
She features state-of-the-art technology and engineering for all her onboard systems, as well as a hybrid propulsion system enabling her to cruise in electric mode, significantly reducing her energy consumption and providing considerable fuel savings to her owner, as well as low noise and emissions helping to protect the marine environment.
Onboard highlights include an Owner’s suite replete with his and her en suites and a private terrace offering sweeping views. On her lower deck, you'll find a further 5 expansive guest cabins that lead along a corridor to her waterside beach club, conveniently equipped with a gym and sauna, and adjacent swim platform for easy access to the sea.
Accommodation is provided for 12 guests.
Delivery to her Owner is expected this spring 2022, following the successful completion of sea trials.
It is not yet known whether she will become a luxury yacht for charter. However, if you're interested in booking a similar yacht for your next yacht vacation, you can view and compare all Amels charter superyachts.
