A landmark moment for the iconic Dutch shipyard, Feadship revealed the launch of their largest superyacht to date- the 110m/361ft motor yacht ‘Feadship 1007’.
Shrouded in secrecy throughout her construction, it was naturally to great excitement that Feadship 1007 was photographed leaving Feadship’s Makkum facility where she completed her fit-out. Indeed, the last glimpse that everyone got of her was back in December 2016 when she hit the water for the first time in Papendrecht.
Around 10% larger than the current largest Feadship superyacht- the 102m/333ft motor yacht SYMPHONY- the scale of Feadship 1007 cannot be overstated.
Due to her impressive proportions, Feadship 1007 was subcontracted by Feadship to be built at the Scheepswerf Slob shipyard with the UK-based designer Michael Leach responsible for both the exterior and interior styling. No stranger to Feadship superyachts, Leach previously designed the interior and exterior of the award-winning 67m/220ft motor yacht ANNA.
Scheduled for delivery later this year, the Feadship 1007 features the naval architecture of Feadship’s in-house De Voogt team and is reported to have a side-loading tender garage as well as retractable beach club.
As the largest Feadship superyacht ever built, the launch of ‘Feadship 1007 is a highly historic moment
Whilst Feadship 1007 is the largest yacht to ever leave the prestigious Dutch yard, she is the joint largest superyacht to be built in the Netherlands, along with the 110m/361ft motor yacht JUBILEE.
In terms of the world’s top 100 largest superyachts, Feadship 1007 will join both the 110m/361ft motor yacht ONA and the 110m/361ft luxury yacht RADIANT from Lurssen in joint 32nd place.
When more information becomes available regarding her gross tonnage (GT), it will be possible to determine where Feadship 1007 ranks in terms of on board volume.
Whilst Feadship 1007 is not expected to become available for charter, be sure to view and compare all Feadship yachts for charter.
