Feadship’s in-build 50m/162ft superyacht Project 706 has been spotted for the first time as she prepares to undergo outfitting.
Due for launch in 2020, Feadship Project 706 was photographed as she made her way along the Dutch canals to Feadship’s outfitting facility in Aalsmeer over the weekend.
While details on the in-build project are sparse, it is thought that 706 will become one of the fastest yachts in the Feadship fleet.
This is the first public glimpse of the motor yacht. As she begins the outfitting process in Aalsmeer, it is unlikely we will see her again until she is officially launched next year.
The all-aluminium yacht measures 49.5 metres and is expected to have a beam measuring 7.8 metres.
Feadship has also revealed that she will be equipped with a series of three water jets to achieve ‘some serious speeds’, according to the Dutch yard.
It is unknown whether the yacht will be open for crewed yacht charters. You can view all Feadship charter yachts.
The news of Project 706 comes day after Feadship’s 77m/253ft motor yacht Syzygy 818 headed out on sea trials.
