Lusben unveils superyacht SOLAFIDE after extensive refit

In a labor of love that has lasted eight months, involving a team of almost 100, the 52-meter steel and aluminum yacht SOLAFIDE (ex-Vianne) has now been handed over to her owners with a new name and a host of other changes to both her onboard systems and interior design.

Originally delivered by Benetti in 1995, the motor yacht has been given multiple upgrades during her time at the Italian shipyard to bring her up to date with the latest technical and safety features, alongside completely remodeled interiors courtesy of the Azimut|Benetti Group interior design division, Yachtique.

Gianni Paladino , Lusben Commercial Director, announced: “ This was a major refit experienced side-by-side with the owner and the Yachtique design team every step of the way. We are confident this is the first stage in a project that will involve further major work at our shipyard in the coming years too. We can’t wait to be able to continue this collaboration, not least because this storied Benetti yacht is absolutely captivating.”

Harnessing a variety of woods, leather, marble and chic fabrics, the yacht’s interior scheme references natural elements, such as her carpets in shade of ivory, hand cut to create a design reminiscent of waves.

This was a major refit experienced side-by-side with the owner and the Yachtique design team every step of the way.

Her owner’s suite has also been given a complete makeover, with delicate wall coverings, raffia features and leather, alongside an entirely rebuilt ensuite. This scheme has been reprised in her guest accommodation on the lower deck, featuring an alternating cotton and linen herringbone motif in grey and powder blue.

Luxury yacht SOLAFIDE has also received a host of technical and mechanical upgrades, and is now fitted with zero-speed electric fin stabilizers by CMC Marine - delivering high performance and silent running - as well as new generators and engines and a new air conditioning system.

She’s also been fitted with sustainability features that will help lower consumption and emissions, delivering excellent performance while reducing the energy required to achieve it.
