Measuring a massive 142m/466ft, Lurssen’s in-build superyacht Project Redwood hit the waters earlier this week.
Currently one of the largest superyachts set to be delivered this year, Project Redwood has been launched by Lurssen from their facilities in Bremen, Germany.
The motor yacht spans six decks, and boasts interior and exterior design from Nuvolari & Lenard.
Initially announced as a 139-metre project, the megayacht has since been extended to over 140m, meaning she will likely rank somewhere in the top ten largest superyachts in the world after completion.
In December 2018 the superyacht was moved to a floating dock for the assembly of her superstructure. In the coming months, the addition of stand-out features including a large pool and two helipads will begin to take shape.
In addition, the yacht will benefit from a sophisticated sports and diving centre in her lower deck and will be well-suited to long-range cruising and exploring the far-flung corners of the globe.
The motor yacht spans six decks, and boasts interior and exterior design from Nuvolari & Lenard.
Since she is being built to comply with Passenger Yacht Code Regulations, Project Redwood will be able to accommodate up to 36 guests across 20 staterooms.
While not much is known about her interior themes, a previous collaboration between Nuvolari & Lenard and Lurssen, the 88m/289ft superyacht QUATTROELLE, was a finalist at the 2014 World Superyacht Awards; so we can expect something show-stopping.
M/Y PROJECT REDWOOD is not expected to be available for charter. However, you can view all Lurssen superyachts for charter.
