MEDYS 2026: Superyacht charter NOMAD scheduled for first ever boat show appearance

By Anna Ingles and Katie Scott   22 April 2026

Attending her first-ever event on the global boat show circuit, 228ft (69.5m) charter yacht NOMAD has been officially confirmed for the upcoming Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS), marking a notable moment for the long-range explorer.

Built by Oceanfast and originally commissioned for legendary golfer Greg Norman, luxury yacht charter NOMAD brings a different perspective to the show lineup, combining global cruising capability with a layout geared towards extended stays onboard.

Held annually in Nafplion, the Mediterranean Yacht Show is one of the key events for the East Mediterranean charter market, offering brokers and industry professionals the opportunity to step onboard some of the region’s most in-demand yachts ahead of the busy summer season.

Built for long-range exploration with standout onboard features

Delivered in 2003 and last refitted in 2020, motor yacht charter NOMAD has been designed with distance in mind, offering a range of nearly 10,000 nautical miles. That capability opens up far-reaching itineraries across the Mediterranean and beyond, while still maintaining a layout that feels well-suited to relaxed, social charters.

Across multiple decks, there’s a balance between open-air living and interior spaces, with a helipad, a spa area, and a private cinema all forming part of the onboard setup. A nine-person Jacuzzi paired with a wet bar creates a natural gathering point on deck, while the beach club adds another layer of connection to the water.

Entertainment is clearly a focus onboard the Oceanfast charter yacht, with a Steinway piano and integrated audiovisual systems offering options for both low-key evenings and more lively moments during a charter.

Designed for long-range exploration and well-equipped with the finest amenities, superyacht NOMAD offers the complete charter experience.

Interiors that lean into comfort and flexibility

Inside, charter yacht NOMAD’s interiors are arranged to support both privacy and shared living, with a layout that works particularly well for families or mixed groups. The main salon incorporates generous lounge areas alongside formal dining, while the dedicated movie theater provides an alternative setting for downtime onboard.

Additional wellness features, including a massage room and gym, sit alongside the spa facilities, giving charter guests the option to maintain routines or simply switch off while cruising between destinations.

Accommodation is configured for up to 12 charter guests across six cabins, including a full-beam master suite positioned on the main deck. Complete with a private study and his-and-hers ensuite, it offers a more residential feel for longer charters in the East Mediterranean.

Two VIP cabins, a double, and two twin cabins complete the layout, providing flexibility for different group setups. With up to 16 crew onboard, service levels are structured to support both active itineraries and more relaxed, slow-paced cruising.

Water toys and Mediterranean cruising potential

For time on the water, yacht rental NOMAD carries a broad selection of toys designed to make the most of calm anchorages and open stretches alike. From Yamaha WaveRunners to towables, there’s a mix of high-energy and more laid-back options to suit all charter groups.

Also hosting a trio of tenders, charter guests onboard will have seamless access to exclusive beach clubs, hidden coves, and unique points of interest throughout Mediterranean yacht charter itineraries.

Some of the watersports equipment onboard includes:

  • 2 x F5S Seabobs and a 5-Person Paddleboard
  • 2 x Canoes and 2 x Yamaha Waverunners
  • Lift5 Board Foilboard and a Wake Board
  • Water-Skis
  • Tubes
  • Inflatable trampoline and more!
