Must-see charter yachts at the Mediterranean Yacht Show 2023

By Steph Loseby   7 April 2023

From 29 April to May 3, the eighth edition of the Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDY’S) will take place in the beautiful town of Nafplion, Greece, bringing together a total of 83 superyachts available for luxury yacht charter vacations.

Billed as the world’s largest charter show, MEDY’s 2023 is expected to be just as popular as last year’s show, attracting a wide range of yachting industry professionals and charter brokers from across the globe to witness the impressive line-up of sparkling superyachts as they gear up for a busy summer charter season ahead.

Organized by the Greek Yachting Association (GYA) with the critical support of the Municipality of Nafplion, the MEDYS arms all attendees with a wealth of valuable information and unparalleled insight into the world of Greek luxury charter yachting.

So, if you’re attending this year's Mediterranean yacht show and are considering renting a private yacht for your next vacation, be sure to check out the following must-see superyachts.

O’PTASIA

Currently, the largest yacht set to attend the show, the 85m (279ft) superyacht O’PTASIA stands out from the crowd with its excellent craftsmanship, desirable amenities and vast desk space. Delivered in 2018, the yacht is built in steel and aluminum by Greek yard Golden Yachts to a design by Studio Vafiadis, who was also responsible for the interior.

The motor yacht will take pride of place at the show, showcasing her award-winning elegant yet masculine exteriors and spacious beach club. Visitors lucky enough to step onboard can also admire her 95 square meter owner's suite on the upper deck that provides panoramic views from its elevated position, the large pool on the sundeck and the spacious cinema room, perfect for cozy evenings onboard.

Welcoming up to 12 guests across ten cabins, the 2,350 GT yacht is a real head-turner.
