It has been revealed that the popular 95m/312ft Lürssen charter yacht KISMET had to withdraw from the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2015 line-up due to such high demand for chartering her.
Winner of the best ‘Displacement Motor Yacht’ (of 1,300GT to 2,999GT) at this year’s World Superyacht Awards, KISMET has been one of most highly sought-after charter yachts since her delivery by the esteemed German shipyard in 2014.
Her timeless combination of design work by multi-award winning designers Espen Oeino and Reymond Langton Design, huge sundeck swimming pool and Jacuzzi area, full spa and helipad have cemented this reputation, despite the vessel being yet to appear at a yachting event. She is currently cruising in Panama, on a charter holiday in Central America.
Now the 76m/248ft motor yacht ‘Northern Star’ will be the sole representative of the build quality of Lürssen in Fort Lauderdale, a 2009 delivery showcasing design by Espen Oeino and Pauline Nunns. Distinctive by her navy blue hull, her elegant interior styling, multiple Jacuzzi spots, helipad and extensive gym make her a worthwhile inspection at the 56th edition of FLIBS. She boasts an ice-class hull for easy cruising in the Northern hemisphere, and sleeps 12 guests in 6 staterooms.
It’s no secret that the charter industry is in its healthiest state yet since 2008, following a busy summer season where numerous yachts were completing back-to-back bookings due to demand. However with a rate starting at $1,350,000 (€1,200,000) per week, evidently not just yachts in the 24m-50m bracket are experiencing significant enquiries for charter vacations.
For more details on M/Y KISMET’s charter availability, or arranging an inspection on board any of the luxury yachts attending the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, please get in touch with the charter broker of your choice.
