By Katia Damborsky   8 November 2019

Whether you’re looking to ring in the New Year in St Barts or explore the turquoise oasis of the Indian Ocean by yacht, a superb selection of brand new superyachts are open for luxury yacht charters this winter.

2019 has seen numerous superyacht deliveries so far, and plenty of them have gone on to join the yacht charter fleet.

Wherever you want to explore this winter, we have a complete round-up of brand new yachts available in a variety of alluring destinations.

80m (262ft) luxury yacht EXCELLENCE

Caribbean

Abeking & Rasmussen’s motor yacht EXCELLENCE will be spending the winter season hosting Caribbean yacht charter vacations. Whilst on board, guests can expect to hop between the British Virgin Islands discovering white sand beaches and buzzy bars, or exploring flourishing coral reefs below the surface of the sea in Antigua.

Sporting distinctive Winch-design exteriors that give her a spaceship-style profile, EXCELLENCE is sure to be one of the most eye-catching yachts in the region. Her interiors are also by Winch and are similarly impressive, with a modern theme and a triple-height atrium encased in glass.

136m (446ft) megayacht ‘Flying Fox’

Indian Ocean

This winter the world’s largest charter yacht ‘Flying Fox’ will be dividing her time between the Seychelles and the Maldives. Whilst on board, guests can expect to charter in supreme luxury and comfort, thanks to a wealth of on-board amenities.

These include a split-level spa spanning 400 square metres, a 12m swimming pool and cinema with D-box seats. The motor yacht was delivered by Lurssen earlier this year and features exteriors from Espen Oeino and soothing spa-style interiors by Mark Berryman.

77m (253ft) superyacht ‘Syzygy 818’

South East Asia

An exciting addition to the Feadship fleet, the winter itinerary for luxury yacht Syzygy 818 has not yet been finalised. However, it is possible she will be open for South East Asia yacht charters, allowing charter guests to explore a world of ethereal natural beauty, world-class dive sites and colourful culture on shore.

The motor yacht undertook her maiden voyage to the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show, where her Jarkko Jamsen exteriors drew in plenty of admiration on the docks. She plays host to a glass-bottomed swimming pool above the beach club, with a pair of unfolding sea terraces on both sides of the beam and a backlit onyx spa. Her elegant Oriental-inspired interiors have been helmed by Sinot Yacht Design.

85m (278ft) expedition yacht BOLD

Bahamas

Still available for Thanksgiving yacht charters, luxury yacht BOLD will be exploring the blissful Bahamas this November. In early December, she will be heading further south into the tropical cruising grounds of the Caribbean.

Launched by SilverYachts earlier this year, BOLD sports contemporary interiors from Vain Interiors and rugged exterior styling by Espen Oeino. She has a low draft for accessing shallow cruising grounds and plays host to a variety of stand-out features, including a sundeck with glass-fronted jacuzzi, a Winter garden-style dining arrangement and a hangar that can double as a nightclub space.

93m (305ft) charter yacht ‘Lady S’

Caribbean

Another Feadship superyacht, Lady S will be hosting her first Caribbean yacht charters this winter. Her angular Michael-Leach designed exteriors are set to impress wherever she cruises, and she is the perfect yacht charter platform for celebrating the New Year in St Barts.

She is the first ever yacht to have an IMAX cinema on board, and this innovative feature spans two floors for the ultimate entertainment. Guests can also enjoy a basketball court, a fully-certified helipad and spacious pool with separate shaded and sunning areas.

63m (207ft) superyacht ‘North Star’

Caribbean

Freshly delivered, luxury yacht ‘North Star’ will be hosting her first private yacht charters across the Caribbean this winter. Guests can enjoy exploring Saint Maarten or discovering secluded bays around the US Virgin Islands in comfort and style while chartering this superb yacht.

The yacht enjoys exterior styling from Espen Oeino, while her interiors are the work of Redman Whiteley Dixon. She was launched earlier in 2019 by Sunrise Yachts, and renderings paint a picture of opulence and luxury on board.
