Yachts flock to the Superyacht Challenge Antigua 2018

Designed to be solely for the pleasure of superyacht owners, their guests and crew, the regatta is a wonderful celebration of sailing where fair racing and good companionship are valued above all else.

The challenge features both modern and classic yachts, but all must measure over 24 metres in length. Four impressive superyachts made their debut last year and were among the first to commit to the 2018 edition.

Among these are the 34m/112ft charter yacht SPIIP which, designed by Royal Huisman, won the Corsairs Class and will certainly be one to watch out for this year. 

The annual event will feature an extended racing programme of five races held over four days, with sailors arriving from all over the world to take part

Another charter yacht returning is the 32m/105ft sailing yacht DANNESKJOLD from Southern Ocean Marine. Looking spectacular under sail, she is sure to once again wow the spectators as she cuts through the water.

Two other yachts making a return for the second year in a row are the 53m/172ft sailing yacht ELFJE and the 28m/90ft sailing yacht ARCADIA. These are unfortunately for private use only.
