Running from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th July, the 2014 German Grand Prix will take place in Hockenhein. Generating a unique atmosphere, the overwhelming support of fans is expected to reach fever pitch to commemorate 40 years at Hockenheimring and promises to be one of the most memorable German Grand Prix races to date.
Hockenheimring features a Herman Tilke-designed track that is almost totally flat with long straights followed by slow corners and hairpins. It can hold up to 120,000 spectators, most in the grandstands surrounding the Motodrom stadium section. To hotel Motodrom itself is actually integrated into the main stand of the circuit, directly on the start/finishing straight and you can get a fabulous view over the racetrack from the restaurant.
Last rebuilt in 2002, Hockenheimring boasts a new track and guarantees exciting racing with numerous overtaking opportunities. The organisers have an agreement to host the race at the track until 2018.
