79m Charter Yacht 'Pegasus V' Sold

Originally launched in 2003 as Princess Mariana, Pegasus V was designed by Espen Oieno and built by superyacht yard Royal Denship with a steel hull and aluminium/GRP superstructure. She most recently had a refit in 2011. 12 guests can be accommodated for in six luxury cabins designed by Francois Zuretti, which include two VIP suites, two double staterooms, a twin cabin and an owner’s suite with office space and a private sea balcony.

Features of note across her spacious six decks are her helipad, a spa, two cinemas, an onboard driving range and a drydock for custom tender which can be flooded to form a swimming pool. A variety of tenders such as Moon Goddess and water toys including jet skis and waverunners are on board.

She has a cruising speed of 13 knots and a maximum speed of 145 knots. Her asking price was $84.9 million. It is unclear at the moment if Pegasus V will come back on the market now she is sold, but similar motor yachts of interest may be Air, the 81m Feadship or Odessa II, at 73m built in 2013.
