This week, some of the world’s most impressive vessels have begun registering for the prestigious Lora Piana Superyacht Regatta in Sardinia, which runs from 7th to 11th June.
With only a short time to go before the deadline closes for registration, anticipation for the Lora Piana Superyacht Regatta is quickly building. The event promises action-packed racing off the coast of Costa Smeralda and is a perfect opportunity to experience what the Mediterranean has to offer this summer.
As well as offering exceptional sailing in Sardinia’s beautiful La Maddalena archipelago, the organisers of the event will also be hosting their signature receptions.
Increasingly popular, any and all announcements regarding confirmed competitors is sure to be met with huge excitement.
Runner-up in the Class A division last year was the 46m/150ft sailing yacht GANESHA whilst the 45m/148ft sailing yacht 'Clan VIII' took bronze. With such finely turned out vessels from Vitters and Perni Navi, spectators and racers alike enjoyed four days of undisturbed action.
As it’s still early days for this year’s registration, it’ll be a little while before the recently confirmed 30m/99ft sailing yacht RAPTURE can begin eying up her competition. Over the upcoming months, however, Yacht Charter Fleet will keep you updated with the latest news and updates.
With classic and modern yachts meeting in some of the world's most incredible waters, the regatta is an event which simply cannot be missed
