Sailing Yacht ‘Bonnie Lynn’ Open for America’s Cup Charter

By Rebecca Bradbury   23 June 2016

The 22m/72ft sailing yacht ‘Bonnie Lynn’ is open for charter at next year’s America’s Cup, taking place in Bermuda from June 1 to 4.

Evoking images of a bygone era, Bonnie Lynn is a serious blue water cruiser built in 1998 by McKenzie Barge & Derrick Co. A regular option for cruising the coastline of New England, she will be heading to Bermuda next summer and offering front-row charters at the America’s Cup.

A gaffed rigged schooner, she is sure to turn heads with her three head sails and traditional square fore topsail. Yet, despite her traditional looks, she is equipped with modern navigation and communication systems as well as state-of-the-art safety equipment.

Able to host up to 32 guests for day charters, she will make a perfect vessel for hosting a corporate yacht charter at the racing event.

There are a variety of places to take in the exciting action on deck, including the foredeck and its adjoining alfresco lounge area shaded by a sun awning.

Below deck charter yacht Bonnie Lynn features teak and mahogany panelling with gimbal brass lamps. Sit back and relax with friends and family in the salon before enjoying delicious meals freshly prepared by the resident chef.

The sailing yacht is able to sleep up to six guests in three double staterooms, all with en suites.

Other highlights include water toys such as a sailing dinghy, kayaks, fishing gear and snorkelling equipment, and there are also three hammocks on deck in which guests can unwind on their yacht charter while soaking up the glorious sunshine of the region.
