Feadship Motor Yacht JOY Signs Up to Dubai Boat Show 2017

By Rebecca Bradbury   20 February 2017

The recently launched 70m/230ft superyacht JOY will be appearing at the 2017 Dubai International Boat Show from 28th February to 4th March.

One of the most eagerly anticipated launches of 2016, JOY wowed the industry last year, picking up many other accolades, including a Showboat Design Award. Currently cruising the idyllic waters of the Indian Ocean, she will be one the must-see yachts at the Dubai International Boat Show when its 25th edition gets underway next week.

The Middle East’s number one boating show, the five-day event welcomes the region’s finest superyachts to the glamorous surrounds of the Dubai International Boat Club, where JOY will be impossible not to spot thanks to her stunning exterior styling from Bannenberg and Rowell.

She also embodies the unrivalled pedigree of Dutch shipyard Feadship, while London-based Studio Indigo has brought a fresh, vibrant and unique perspective to her interior spaces. Together the trio have collaborated to create a perfect harmony between the indoor and outdoor spaces, perfect for summertime cruising.

What’s more, winter gardens on the main and upper decks aft are air-conditioned and glass-enclosed to enable guests to take in spectacular views, no matter how windy or how hot outdoor conditions are, and also serve to enhance the perception of space.

Other outside deck areas include a sundeck with a spa pool and sumptuous seating, a bathing platform where the transom door opens upwards to reveal a beach club, and an expansive foredeck designed for playing football, volleyball or basketball games during your yacht charter.

The emphasis on family living and comfort continues into the interior of charter yacht JOY, where more than 250 finishes give each area its own individual character. The sensuous main salon features a whiskey bar, whereas a cosy family lounge is available on the deck above.

A whole deck, in fact, is dedicated to the principal charterer with a full-beam master suite forward, boasting wonderful vistas and a huge skylight, and two double cabins amidships designed for children. The remaining accommodation comprises three doubles and two twin cabins.

Other highlights of the motor yacht include a party setup in her beach club, a fully-equipped bridge deck gym with full-to-ceiling glass windows and a spa room, where charterers can indulge in massages and other treatments from the on-board therapist. There is also a plethora of water toys.
